Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy explains what personal data PadelForUs processes, why, and your rights. It is written to satisfy Articles 13–14 of the EU GDPR and comparable laws. For any privacy question, contact admin@padelforus.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and (optional) phone, city/region/country.
  • Profile data: gender, dominant hand, preferred side, self-reported level, avatar, bio.
  • Activity data: matches, scores, events and tournaments you join, the players you played with, and the skill rating computed from your results.
  • Social data: friends, favorite partners, communities, clubs.
  • Technical data: authentication tokens, device push subscriptions, app preferences.
  • Data about guest players that an organizer records on their behalf.

2. Why we process it

  • To provide the service — record matches, run events, compute ratings, connect you with players. (Basis: performance of a contract.)
  • Service notifications — event reminders, score confirmations, schedule changes. (Basis: contract / legitimate interest.)
  • Marketing communications — only if you opt in, and you can withdraw at any time. (Basis: consent.)
  • Security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. (Basis: legitimate interest.)

3. Club & third-party integrations (e.g. Playtomic)

When a club you belong to connects an authorized third-party system such as Playtomic, we may receive booking and player-directory information (names, emails, and skill levels) to help set up events for that club. We use this data solely to match players to existing accounts or create guest records, and to seed events. We do not use third-party-sourced contact details for marketing. Credentials for these integrations are stored encrypted and are never shared.

4. Who can see your data

  • Other participants in a match or event see the shared record (players, scores, outcome).
  • Organizers and club admins of an event or club you join see the roster.
  • Public events and tournaments are visible to anyone with the link.
  • We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, push delivery) as processors under contract. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Retention

We keep account and activity data while your account is active. When you deactivate your account, see Section 8.

7. Your rights

Subject to law, you may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Contact admin@padelforus.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Deactivating your account

You can deactivate your account from your profile settings. Because matches and events are shared records that belong jointly to all participants, deactivation does the following:

  • We remove your player page and hide you from the player directory.
  • We sign you out, and you can no longer sign in.
  • The matches and events you took part in remain, so we do not erase the records of the other players who were there — you simply no longer appear as a linked player.

To permanently erase your personal details, or to reactivate a deactivated account, email admin@padelforus.com. This approach follows GDPR Article 17(3): the right to erasure is limited where retention is necessary to protect the rights of other individuals.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16 (or the local age of digital consent).

10. Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes. Questions: admin@padelforus.com.
